PHILP, Alma Mary (formerly of Port Chalmers)

On September 30, 2023, peacefully at Leslie Groves Hospital; aged 78 years.

Loving mother and mother-in-law of Deborah, Margaret, Cheryl, John and Emma, much loved Grandma of Thomas, Jackson, John, and Juliet; Michael, Emma, and Tim; Holly, Kane, and Connor; Holly, Madeline, and Jakob, loved great-grandma of her 8 great-grandchildren, and amazing ‘Homestay Mum’ to many from around the world.

Special thanks to the staff of Leslie Groves Hospital, Ferntree and Taieri Units for the wonderful care provided to Alma.

A service to celebrate Alma’s life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, Dunedin at 11am on Saturday, October 7, followed by private cremation.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimers Otago would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
