Peacefully on November 8, 2007 at Dunedin Hospital, in his 88th year.

Dearly loved husband of the late Dorothy, much loved father and father-in-law of Martin & Lesley, Paul & Angela, Pam & Brent, Joanne & Murray. Loved grandad of Martine & Justin, & Amber & Ben ; Jeremy, & Daryl ; Alex, Callum, & Matthew, loved great-grandad of Riah; India & Quilla; and Shane.

A service for Ernie will be held in Dunedin South Presbyterian Church, Queens Drive, St Kilda at 2pm on Tuesday November 13, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
