Devastatingly suddenly on 8 Jan 2008 at Detroit, USA; aged 38 years.

Gorgeous, treasured best friend and wife of Archie Welch, (USA) and wonderful mother of their newborn beautiful baby son, Jack.

Darling, especially treasured daughter of Irene & Noel Currie, (Dunedin).

Absolutely adored sister of Sonya Currie and her partner Ian Douglas, (Christchurch) and Steve Currie and his partner Cindy Bancroft, (Sydney).

Also loved & special niece & cousin to her aunts, uncles and cousins in Dunedin, Christchurch and Sydney.

Arrangements for Dee's funeral are yet to be finalised until Archie, Irene and Noel bring Dee back to home. Notification will follow once arrangements have been made.

'An incredible woman who lived life to the fullest, followed her dreams and passions and who found true happiness in love and life and making a difference, affecting everyone she met and being the shining star she was. In our hearts Dee will remain, sorely missed, always loved and cherished dearly. An adventurous spirit now soaring free.'
