Dearly beloved husband of the late Joyce Frances, loved father and father-in-law of Gavin and Marion (Gore), Rex (Christchurch), Sandra and Kieran Breese (Mosgiel), Joy and Terry Auld (Tasmania), loved grandad of all his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A Service for Vern will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 2pm on Wednesday January 16, followed by burial at Green Park Cemetery.
