HUGHES, Gregory Alan (Greg)

On April 15, 2008 at Stewart Island, suddenly, doing what he loved best, hunting with his mates; aged 49 years.

Dearly loved eldest son of Alan and the late Elma Hughes, loved birth father of Kirsty Pinder (Auckland), loved brother and brother-in-law of Elizabeth and Alan Powell (Brydon, Southland), John Hughes, and Gareth and Pip, uncle to his nieces and nephews, Tania, Kirstin, Sam, and Hannah Powell; Jonathan, Shaye and Emile, and Oliver and Grace.

"Home is the hunter home from the hill".

A service for Greg will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 1:30pm on Monday April 21, the funeral then leaving for the Green Park Cemetery.
