On April 28, 2008 peacefully at Dunedin Hospital, surrounded by his loving family; in his 92nd year.

Dearly loved husband of the late Imelda, loving dad and father-in-law of Chris and Tim Manley, Pauline Meinung; precious Da of Paul and Anna, Nicole and Greg, Christopher (CJ) and Dominique, Brydie, and Ben; loving friend of those who were close and special to him.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Patrick's Basilica, Macandrew Road, South Dunedin at 2pm on Thursday May 1, the funeral then leaving for the Green Park Cemetery. Rosary in the Basilica at 4.30pm on Wednesday April 30.
