Peacefully, at Dunedin Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Dearly loved husband of the late Phyllis, loved father and father-in-law of Rod and Rosemary (Christchurch), Sharyn and John Clearwater, Cathy Maaka (Oamaru), Maree and Trevor Lapham (Paraparaumu), and Rosie and Wayne Gordon (Melbourne). Treasured Marty Boy of Brad, Julia, Gus, and Lil; Jessica, Alex, Victoria, and Harrison; Alicia, Christopher, and Sarah; Grace, Chanel, and Elodie.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Patrick's Basilica Macandrew Road, at 1pm on Tuesday May 6, the funeral then leaving for the Andersons Bay Cemetery.
