Peacefully on June 28, 2008 at the Otago Community Hospice; aged 77 years.

Dearly loved wife of the late Arthur Mitchell and the late John McCreadie, loved mother and mother-in-law of Glenys and Steve Bennett, and Marilyne Buckley and Keith Brownlie and loved stepmother of Rosamund. Dearly loved Granny and friend of Kara and her fiancee Rob; Rebecca, Kimberley, and Gareth and their father Chris Buckley and loved Granny to Richard, Susan, and Paul; Heather, and Max.

A service for Elaine will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 2.00pm on Wednesday July 2, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
