On July 2, 2008, peacefully at Queen Rose Rest Home, aged 84 years.

Loved husband of the late Mary, stepfather of Ken and Lee Bailey, Noeline Smith, Margaret Joyce, and Joyce and Warren James, loved brother of Mona and Nancy (Temuka). Special thanks to all the staff and residents for their care and support at Queen Rose.

A service will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, Dunedin at 10:30 a.m. on Friday July 4 followed by private cremation.
