KNOWLES, Rema Merle (Merle)

On July 3, 2008; in her 85th year, unexpectedly but peacefully at Belhaven Rest Home.

Dearly loved mother, mother-in-law and friend of Janis Thompson and Allen Aitken, Wendy and David Taylor (Nelson), and Russell Knowles and Diane Hopkins. Loved grandmother of William and Hannah, Isaac and Sara (Nelson), and Rebecca, and Samantha. Loved eldest daughter of the late Allison and Len Quennell, dearly loved sister and sister-in-law of Bill and Cilla (Auckland), Eric, the late Graham and Ursula (Waihi Beach), and Wilma and Harry Deen. Loved auntie of all her nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate Merle's life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 11:00 am on Monday July 7, followed by private burial.
