On July 14, 2008; aged 44 years, suddenly at Dunedin Hospital.

Dearly loved special dad of Shane, dearly loved youngest son of Eunice and the late John Murray (Oamaru), brother and best mate of Denise and Bruce Head, Karen and Ray, Wayne and Heather, Brent and Robyn, much loved uncle of Kristen, Kelly, Adam, Erica, Amy, Sarah, Grant, and Jamie, and dear friend of Debbie, Rachel, and Sean.

A service to celebrate the life of Garth will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner of Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 2pm on Friday July 18.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
