On October 24, 2008, peacefully at Dunedin Hospital.

Dearly loved husband of Lorraine, loved father and father-in-law of Jane and Bruce Smallfield, Sarah and Andrew Swan, and Megan and Craig Reddington. Loved and very proud Grandad of Hannah, and Peter; Emma, and James; Brittany, and Cameron.

A service to celebrate Allan's life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 2pm on Tuesday October 28 followed by private cremation.

Donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
