On December 25, 2008 peacefully at Frances Hodgkins Retirement Village; aged 89 years.

Much loved and loving wife of Jim, much loved and treasured mother and mother-in-law of Murray (Tasmania), Linda and Grant (Christchurch), loved grandma of Kylie, and Kristy; and Victoria and a loved great grandmother.

A service for Esme will be held in Mornington Methodist Church corner Galloway and Whitby Streets at 1.30pm on Monday December 29, followed by private cremation.
