On January 12, 2009 peacefully at Dunedin Hospital; in his 90th year.

Dearly loved husband of the late Daphne, loved father and father-in-law of Peter and Heather (Perth), Dennis and June (Christchurch), Gary and Julie (Christchurch) and Brian and the late Annette (Wellington). Loving grandad of Amy, and Oliver; Justine, Adrienne, and Paul; Jamilla, and Kyle; and Thomas and Liam. Special friend and companion of Joan. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Len and Pat (Christchurch), Cyril and Norma Brocklebank, Margaret and Colin Jackson (Temuka) and loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews.

A service for Stan will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 11am on Thursday January 15 followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations for the Otago Community Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
