On January 17, 2009 in the loving care of his "Girls" and the staff of the Otago Community Hospice.

Deeply loved and amazing husband of Christine. Most adored and loved Dad of Maxine, Victoria and Mike, Amy and Brendan, and Grandad to his precious Katie. Loved son of May Munro, dearly loved son-in-law of June and Maurie Porter. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Joanna and Kevin, Chris and Wendy, Robert, Richard and Rhonda, and loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews and great-niece.

A celebration of Peter's life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Anderson Bay Road and Oxford Street at 10am on Tuesday January 20, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Otago Community Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
