Loved wife of Graeme and loved special Mum of James, Philip and Shahn, and Stephen. Loved daughter of Rev Norman and Vetia Sheat, loved sister of Mary Ely and the late Jennifer Sheat. Loved sister-in-law of Murray and Lynette Welsh, aunt and great aunt of Leanne, Jono, and Maia, Nicky and Bill, Gemma, and Mark.

A service for Alison will be held in St James Presbyterian Church, King Edward Street, Dunedin, at 1.30pm on Wednesday January 28 followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers Alison wished to give everyone the opportunity to bring a plate of their favourite food for a shared afternoon tea.
