Loved daughter of the late Joseph Black Murray and the late Alice Louise (nee Percy,) of Port Chalmers. Loved wife of the late Leslie Vernon Simpson 1915-1965, also wife to John Fairclough. Loved sister of Marion Lane, loved sister-in-law of the late Gordon Lane (Outram) also loved sister of the late Edna, Henry Alexander ,Tenniswood, Christina Alice, Frederick Basil (Digger), Isobel Mavis, Annabel Elisabeth, Francis Lillian, Elsie Jean, Robert William, Evelyn Edith, Bruce Alan, and Alan Russell. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Wally and Margaret Simpson (Rangiora), Lesley and Adrian Day (Blackett, N.S.W Australia), also Patricia, former wife of the late Reg Simpson (1947-2003) & the late Gloria (Geraldine), and the late Trevor 1952-2002 (Dunedin). Loved Nana & aunt of all her nephews and nieces, grand-children and great grand-children.

A service will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Rd and Oxford Street, at 2pm, on Monday February 2, 2009, then leaving for the Andersons Bay Cemetery.
