On February 25, 2009 at home after a long illness; aged 75 years.

Dearly loved husband of Evelyn, loved father and father-in-law of Stephen and Joanne (Tasmania), Graeme and Glenis (Christchurch), Peter, Annette and Richard McNicholl (Christchurch), loving grandad of Hayley, and Sam; Terry, and Amy; Jack, and Scott and loved brother-in-law of Margaret McGuire.

A service will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 2.30pm on Monday March 2, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations for St John Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
