Peacefully at Dunedin Hospital on April 10, 2009 after a short illness. Loved father and father-in-law of Neville and Sue, Karen, Lindsay and Janne, Justin and Anne Marie. Loved grandfather of Cameron, Sophie, Bridie, Daniel, Maggie and "Bump". Brother of the late Lawrence, Una Sullivan, Anne Adams, Joe, Raewyn Dreyer, Ivan and Jill Hollis.

A service to celebrate Rex's life will be held in the Dunedin Crematorium Chapel, Tomahawk Road at 2.30pm on Wednesday April 15.
