On May 12, 2009 peacefully at Montecillo Veterans Home and Hospital; in her 88th year.

Much loved and adored wife of the late David, beloved mother and mother-in-law of David and Robyn (Wellington), Penny and Bob Smith, much loved grandma of Melanie, and Natasha; Sarah, and Amelia and great grandmother of Josh, Caleb, and Hannah. Dearly loved sister and sister-in-law of Eva and Des Feldman (London), loved aunt of her nieces and nephews.

A service for Gerda will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 2.30pm on Monday May 18, followed by private cremation.

Passed away peacefully in her 88th year on Tuesday 12th May 2009 at Montecillo Veterans Home & Hospital, Dunedin. Wife of the late David Osborne. Dearly loved Mother of David and Mother-in-Law to Robyn, loved Mother of Penny and Mother-in-Law to Bob. Much loved and treasured Grandma of Natasha, Melanie and husband Jonathan, Amelia, Sarah and Fiancé Callum. Extremely proud Great-Grandma to Joshua, Caleb and Hannah. Dearly loved Sister of Eva and Desmond Feldman (UK).

Now at peace with her beloved husband David.

We have many memories to cherish and she will be forever in our hearts.
