Much loved only son of the late Downes and Jessie Roberts, much loved brother and brother-in-law of Elizabeth, Jessica and Rob Elworthy, Jane and the late Charles Falconer, and the late Angela and a loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A service for John will be held at Gladbrook, Middlemarch, at 11am on Friday May 29, followed by burial at the West Taieri Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
