On May 27, 2009 peacefully at Glamis Hospital; aged 82 years.

Wife of the late Eric Day. Beloved mother of Renee Sorensen, Melvin Day (Rotorua), Keith Day (Hamilton) and the late Marion Day, grandmother to her 12 grandchildren and great grandmother to 14 great grandchildren.

Marie's family would like to thank all the staff at Glamis Hospital who cared for Marie, especially Paula, for the care and love shown to our Mum, Nana and great grandmother in the last 5 years she was in their care.

A service for Marie will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 11.00am on Tuesday June 2, followed by private interment.
