On July 7, 2009 peacefully at Fulton Home, Dunedin; in his 96th year.

Dearly loved husband of the late Joan and the late Mirla. Wonderful father and father-in-law of Philip and Debbie (Wanaka), Alison and Richard Sipthorp, Joanne and Mike, Gerald and Lee. Loving and treasured grandad of Andrew, and Jason; Maddison, Harrison, and Brandon Orr-Clark.

A service for Basil will be held in the Tokomairiro Co-operating Parish Church, Union Street, Milton at 1pm on Saturday July 11, followed by private cremation.

No flowers by request.
