Dearly loved Husband of the late Jan (Janet). Loved Father of Gavin & Margaret (Auckland) and Iain & Pauline (Wellington). Loving Grand-dad to Robert, Dion, Liam, Alex, and Samantha. Much loved brother and brother-in-law of Gary & Helena Hawke, Malcolm Nash, Walter Nash and Les & Karen Nash, and loving Uncle of his many nieces and nephews.

The family would especially like to thank Dad’s close friends from Holy Trinity Church, Avalon Parish and the Rotary Club of Eastern Hutt for providing support, fellowship and prayers during his brief illness.

Bill was awarded the Paul Harris Sapphire Pin on Monday 29th June 2009, for founding and co-ordinating the Emergency Box scheme in Rotary District 9940.

A Service to Celebrate Bill’s life will be held in St James' Anglican Church, Woburn Road, Lower Hutt on Tuesday 14th July 2009 at 10:00am. Thereafter private cremation.
