LOWE, Douglas George Ernest (Doug)

On July 13, 2009 at Dunedin Hospital; aged 84 years.

Dearly loved husband of the late Daphne, loved father and father-in-law of Sandra and Mike Darracott and David and Jane (England), loved G dad of Laura, Matthew, and Meg; Kate, and Jess.

Special thanks to Leslie Groves Rest Home staff for their compassion and care, and staff of Dunedin Hospital for their expertise and kindness, and to Dr Brendan O'Neill, Doug's GP for his care.

A service for Doug will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 11.00am on Friday July 17, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations to Diabetes Otago would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
