On July 15, 2009, peacefully, at Oxford Court Rest Home, surrounded by her family; aged 80 years.

Loved mother and mother-in-law of Pamela and Michel, Peter and Glenda, Tony and Jo, Jeanette, Lorraine, and the late Paul. Loved gran of Graeme, Robert; Melissa and Andrew, Jacinda; Cameron, Leith, Daria; Charlotte; Samantha; Billy, and loved great-gran of Poppy, and James.

A service for Melva will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, at 10am on Saturday, July 18, followed by private cremation.
