On August 22, 2009 peacefully at Ross Home, Dunedin; in her 103rd year.

Loved mother and mother-in-law of Ian and Maureen, Rowena and the late Gerald (Australia) and loved grandmother of Alison and Andy, Frances and Glen, Mark and Debbie, Alan and Rachel, Duncan and Frances and loved great grandmother of all her great grandchildren.

A service for Berta will be held in Ross Home Chapel, 360 North Road, Northeast Valley at 10.30am on Friday August 28, followed by private burial.
