On September 9, 2009 at Dunedin, with Betty at his side; aged 80 years.

Adored husband of Betty, dearly loved father and fath-in-law of Elizabeth and Charles (Wellington), Rosemary and Allan (Melbourne), Felicity and Farin (Sydney), and much loved grandad of Simon, Ursula; Amy; Clara, and Justin.

A service will be held in St Paul's Cathedral, The Octagon, Dunedin at 12.30pm on Wednesday, September 16, followed by private cremation.

Donations for Diabetes NZ would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
