GOODWIN, Irene Lillian

On October 27, 2009 peacefully at the Otago Community Hospice after a battle with cancer; aged 60 years.

Loved partner of Jim Wellington. Loved daughter of Dave and the late Rene McLachlan, loved sister of Ron, Warren, and Linda, loved sister-in-law of Anne, Eleanor, and Peter, loved aunty of Susan, Stuart, Christine, and Jenny; Ashley, and John; Denise, and Pippa.

A service for Irene will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 11.00am on Friday October 30, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service.

Irene was a much loved friend and colleague and her death has deeply saddened everyone at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, University of Otago. She will be greatly missed.
