On November 25, 2009 suddenly following a stroke at Dunedin Hospital; aged 82 years.

Loved husband of the late Edna, loved father and father-in-law of Bretton and Suzanne (Seattle, U.S.A), Megan and Simon (Christchurch), much loved grandad of Isobel, and Holly; Kate, Lucy, and Finnigan.

A service for B.P. will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 12 noon on Saturday November 28, followed by private cremation.
