On December 25, 2009 surrounded by family at Marne Street Hospital; aged 86 years.

Devoted wife of the late Herwald, loved mother and mother-in-law of Chris and Lindsay Strong, dearly loved nana of Jane and Scott, Pete and Nat, loved stepmother of Pat and Bev, mother to Neil.

A service for Doris will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, at 1:30pm on Wednesday December 30, follwed by private cremation.
