On March 10, 2010 peacefully at the Otago Community Hospice surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband and best friend of Joan, loved dad of Greg and Glenys, David and Erin, Blair and Kirsten (Christchurch), loving grandad of Sarah, and Hamish; Ruby; Sian, and Kate.

A service for Bill will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 11am on Monday March 15, the funeral then leaving for the Green Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations for the Otago Community Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
