On June 29, 2010, at Marne Street Hospital; in her 87th year.

Dearly loved wife of the late Jim, much loved mother and mother-in-law of James and Elizabeth (Auckland), Bev and Joe Olsen, loved nana of Jannine, and Anthony; Brett, Debbie, and Michael and loved great-grandma of Mackenzie, Tayler, Grace, and Jack; Sam, Devon, and Olivia.

A service for Sylvia will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 11am on Friday, July 2, followed by private cremation.
