On July 31, 2010 peacefully at Dunedin Hospital; in his 94th year.

Dearly loved husband of the late Angela, loved dad and dad-in-law of Margaret, Pauline and Graham Page (Gore), David and Hallie, and the late John. Loved grandad of Nicola and Michael (Taupo), Jacqueline and Matthew(Gore), Charlotte and Michael (London), Courtney, and Oliver, loved great grandad of Benjamin, George, and Max and brother of the late Vera.

Requiem Mass for Doug will be celebrated in St Brigid's Catholic Church, Bayfield Road, Dunedin at 11.30am on Tuesday August 3 the funeral then leaving for Andersons Bay Cemetery.
