43179 Pte 34 Btn WW11 - Peacefully on August 22, 2010 at Montecillo Veterans Home and Hospital after a short illness; in his 97th year.

Dearly loved husband of the late Rene and the late Olive. Loved father of Ron, Warren, Linda Bennett and the late Irene Goodwin, loved father - in - law and friend of Anne, Eleanor, Peter, Holly, and Jim, loved and respected grandad of all his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A service for Dave will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 10.00am on Tuesday August 24, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations to St John Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
