On December 6, 2010, peacefully at Radius Fulton Home, Dunedin in her 99th year.

Dearly loved and devoted wife of the late Leo, beloved mother and mother-in-law of Leon and Dorothy (Christchurch), and Alice and the late Ray Brosnan, loved grandmother of Michael and Susan Brosnan, Alan and Elaine Brosnan, Garry and Jeanette Brosnan, Judy and Neil Davison, Liz and Sam Strati, Catheryn and the late Matthew Faid, Maree and Mike McNeilly, Paul and Sal Faid, Andrew and Nik Faid, Peter and Rosa Faid, loving great-grandmother of Victoria, James, David, Alicia, and Sean-Benet; Nick, Isaac, Connor, and Vito; Laura, Adam, Luke, Olivia, Samuel, and the late Grace; Levi, Abraham, and Molly; Lucy, Leo, Piri, and Mika; Nicol, and Sofia, and great-great-grandmother of Sapphera.

A Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Benhar Street, Mornington, Dunedin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday December 10 then leaving for the Green Park Cemetery.
