On January 22, 2011 peacefully at Oamaru Hospital; in his 83rd year.

Loved father and father-in-law of Ivan and Adele, Lynn and Dave Devon, Shona and Warren Smart, Walter and Sharon, and the late Kathryn. Loved Grandad of all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dearly loved friend of Jean. Will be missed by his companion Whisky.

A service for Lindsay will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 12 noon on Saturday January 29, followed by private cremation.
