Peacefully at Marne Street Hospital on March 1, 2011; aged 87 years.

Dearly loved husband of the late Margery, loved father and father-in-law of Fiona, and Don and Suzanne (Invercargill), loved grandad of Catherine; Evan and Amanda, and great grandad of Tayla-Jane.

A service to celebrate Charlies life will be held in the Seventh-day Adventist Church, 58 Stafford Street, at 1.30pm on Friday March 4, followed by private cremation.
