On March 4, 2011 peacefully at St Andrews Hospital; aged 83 years.

Dearly loved husband of Gwen, loved father and father-in-law of Peter and Marja, Julie and Peter. Loving Papa to Andrew and Tinka, Sean and Lucy; Simon and Toni, Phillip, Des and Sarah, and Cara; and great-grandad of Daymon, and Lewis; and Jasmine.

At Bill's request a private family service has been held.
