On May 2, 2011, suddenly but peacefully at Dunedin Hospital; aged 85 years.

Dearly loved husband and best friend of Norma, much loved dad of Gary and Heather, Gay and Sue, Jill and Stephen, very much loved grandad of Roz and Chris, Brett; Jon and Sarah, Kim and Tim; Kelly and Mark, Sarah and Euan, loved brother and brother-in-law of Allan and the late Margaret Crombie and a loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews.

A service for Ray will be held in Knox Church George Street, Dunedin at 1pm on Friday May 6, followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations to St John Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
