Peacefully in her sleep at Dunedin Hospital on Saturday May 7, 2011.

Dearly loved wife of the late Ivan Blackwood. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Judy and Alan Wood (Invercargill), Linda and Bruce Goodwillie (Roxburgh), Sharon and Alex Robertson (Wanaka), Kerry and Bronwyn (Dunedin). Loved Nana and Great-Nana of Dean, Laura, Brittany, and Simon (Tauranga), Michael, Kerry, Cody, and Ashleigh (Invercargill), Melissa, Dennis, Brianna, Haylie, and Courtney (Invercargill), Tony, Rachelle, Shaedyn, and Zac (Herbert), Alice, Richard, Christopher, Anna, and Paige (Roxburgh), Evan and Megan (Wanaka), Guardian of Jason, and Bryan Lennon.
Caregiver of many foster children over many years.

Will be sadly missed.

A service for Doreen will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 12 noon on Saturday May 14, followed by private cremation.
