POAITI Michael (Mike, Miea Poa)
ex Burnside Freezing Worker and from Caversham and Waikouaiti.

Born in the Cook Islands. Died peacefully at Marne Street Hospital, Dunedin on May 27, 2011.

Loved son of the late Poaiti Poa and Rimatapeka Poaiti, loved friend and companion of the late Marie Masina, loved stepfather and friend of Henry and Salena Masina, loved Grandad Mike of Zeb and Sara (Dunedin), Kate (Invercargill) and great grandad Mike of Sarracen (Invercargill).

Loved brother of Tangianau Poaiti (Dunedin), Vai Heighway (Gold Coast), Mauru Poaiti (Auckland), Nga Toka (Sydney) and loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews.

A very special thanks to the staff at Marne Street Hospital for all their help at this time.

A service for Mike will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 1.00pm on Wednesday June 1, followed by private cremation.
