Suddenly on Saturday July 23, 2011; aged 84 years.

Beloved husband of Diane, much loved father and father-in-law of Bronwyn and Ben, Derek and Rochelle, loved and devoted grandfather of Hamish, and Garth; Michael, Annabel and George; Red, George and Libby. A loved brother and brother-in-law of Nancy and Noel, loved stepfather of Ben and Hannah, Nigel and Sarah, and Guy.

A service for Niel will be held at Knox Church, George Street, Dunedin at 2.00pm on (please note the change of day) Wednesday July 27, followed by private cremation.
