On August 12, 2011, peacefully at the Otago Community Hospice; aged 84 years.

Dearly loved husband of Kathleen. Much loved father and father-in-law of Kate, Tony and Sharron, Elizabeth, Patrick, Teresa, Joseph and Victoria. Much loved grandad of Sarah, and Josh; Michael, and Carlee; Reuben, Bruno, and Hannah, and great-grandad of Sebastian.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Anne's Catholic Church, Thomas Street, Waikouaiti, at 2:00pm on Wednesday, August 17 (today), followed by burial at the Waikouaiti Cemetery.
