Peacefully on August 19, 2011 at St Andrew's Home and Hospital; aged 87 years.

Dearly loved husband of Kathleen, loved father and father-in-law of Marie and Murray McArthur, Steve and Cate, Anne and Barry Graham and Pauline and Mike Braun, loved Grandad of Brendan, and Matthew; Anna, and Michael; Emma, and David; Melissa, and Ryan.

A service for Bill will be held in the St Andrew's Chapel, 8 Easther Crescent, Kew, Dunedin at 11.00am on Friday August 26, followed by private burial.
