9 August 1933, passed away suddenly on 4 September 2011; aged 78 years. In the care of Montecillo Veterans Home.

Loved husband of the late Lynne Keene. Loved father and father-in-law of Donna and Leo Bouma, Amanda and Alister McMillan (Invercargill), John and Natalie Keene (Wellington), and Andrew Keene.

Loved and precious grandad of Amie, David, Oriana Taua, Ethan and Rose McMillan, Georgia and Levi Keene. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Ruby and the late Graeme Dunsmuir (Timaru), the late Marie Keene (Timaru), Pauline and the late Les Hodgson (Te Awamutu), Neil and Helen Keene (Timaru) and families. Loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff of Montecillo for their love and care of Dad.

A service for Rob will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 11.30am on Thursday September 8, followed by private cremation.
