On September 9, 2011, peacefully at Dunedin Hospital, aged 85 years.

Dearly loved wife of Bert, and the late Jim Tucker, loved mother and mother-in-law of Grant and Anne (Wellington), Wayne and Diana (Western Australia), Glenn and Maureen (Queensland), and the late Peter; and Viv and John, Neville and Alison, and Suzanne and Paul, loved Nana of Sarah, and James; Dennis, Tracy, and Kiri; Jason, Emma, Megan, Jamie, Samantha, and Joshua; Nathan, and Blair; Sonia, Nathan, and Brad; Andrew, and Ben; Linda, and Daniel, and a loved great-grandmother.

A service will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street, Dunedin at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday September 13 followed by private cremation.

In lieu of flowers donations for the Stroke Foundation would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
