SHANNON, Ronald David (Ron)

On December 8, 2011, peacefully at Dunedin Hospital; aged 82 years.

Loved brother and brother-in-law of Myra and Denis Wombwell (Christchurch), Hilda and Tom Mitchell (Christchurch), the late George and Joyce (Gisborne), John and the late Betty (Timaru), and the late Margaret Campbell (Christchurch), and loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews.

Ron's family thank St John Ambulance, the staff of the Emergency Department, and special thanks to the staff of Ward 8B for their care.

A service for Ron will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 2pm on Tuesday December 13 followed by private cremation.
