On December 22, 2011, peacefully at Dunedin Hospital; aged 84 years.

Beloved and devoted husband of the late Fedora. Dearly loved and loving father and father-in-law of Silvio and Bernadette, Marina and Andrew and treasured Nonno to Nick, Sophie, and Polly. Cherished brother-in-law of Anna and Bert. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Livia, Elvira, Iole and Mille, Nives and Goran. Loving uncle to Glen, Lisa and Brent, Tony and Lauren, and great uncle to Ben, and Ryan.

A service for Mario will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 2:30pm on Thursday December 29, followed by private cremation.
