Suddenly, but peacefully with family by her side, on January 23, 2012 at Dunedin Hospital; aged 82 years.

Much loved wife and girlfriend of Jim for 57 years.

Loved mother and mother-in-law of Barry and Penelope and Ian and Wendy (Taupo), loved Grandma of Leigh and Aaron, Jaimee and Clancy, Scott and Jennifer, Kate and Jason; James and Abby, Kylie, and Emma. Loving sister of Irene Weily (Karitane) and the late Maureen Hogg and loved aunt of their families.

A determined lady who has faced her struggles with great courage and strength. "Now at Rest".

A service to celebrate Phyllis' life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel corner Andersons Bay Road and Oxford Street at 1.30pm on Friday January 27, followed by private interment.

In lieu of flowers donations to St John Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
